Violins starting at just $15/month
Violas: $20–$35/month
Cellos: $45–$70/month
Basses: $75–$115/month

Fractional sizes available from 1/32 to full size
Student level and step-up models available
All rentals are owned, adjusted, and maintained by The Fiddle Guy, and set up to meet or exceed MENC standards.

Free inspections, adjustments & tuning for all rentals.
Discounted repair services (rarely needed thanks to our setup!)

Your rental payments apply toward purchase — with no deposit required.
You can trade up at any time, and transfer your rental credit toward your next instrument. We also offer 100% trade-in value on instruments originally purchased from us (based on condition).

Yes! The Fiddle Guy offers expert instrument repair for for most stringed instruments- violin, fiddle, viola, cello, bass, guitar, mandolin, banjo, dulcimer, and other stringed instruments (we don't do wind instruments or pianos).
Whether you need a simple tune-up, setup, or a full restoration, we specialize in making stringed instruments play their best — all from our Ashland City workshop (by appointment only).

You can schedule an appointment to shop our curated selection of instruments (violins, fiddles, violas, cellos, mandolins, basses, and guitars) as well as all of the supplies (music books, strings, cases, etc.) in our downtown Ashland City showroom, just a short drive from West Nashville. We serve families, music educators, and performers across Middle Tennessee, offering both new and refurbished instruments, plus all the accessories you need.
