At The Fiddle Guy, we specialize in repairing and restoring all types of string instruments — from fiddles, violins, and violas to cellos, basses, mandolins, and guitars. Whether your instrument is buzzing, hard to tune, or just not playing like it used to, we’ll get it back in shape with expert care.
All repairs and adjustments are performed on-site in our Ashland City workshop using professional tools and years of hands-on experience. We handle everything from basic setups and string replacements to full restorations and custom modifications.

Yes! The Fiddle Guy offers expert instrument repair for for most stringed instruments- violin, fiddle, viola, cello, bass, guitar, mandolin, banjo, dulcimer, and other stringed instruments (we don't do wind instruments or pianos).
Whether you need a simple tune-up, setup, or a full restoration, we specialize in making stringed instruments play their best — all from our Ashland City workshop (by appointment only).
Do you rent instruments?
Absolutely! We serve musicians of all levels, students of all ages, and schools all across middle Tennessee and surrounding areas. Our affordable rental program makes it easy to get started with quality instruments, size swaps, and support support throughout the process — perfect for first-time players, orchestra programs, homeschoolers, and even adults. You can schedule an appointment to shop our curated selection of instruments (violins, fiddles, violas, cellos, mandolins, basses, and guitars) as well as all of the supplies (music books, strings, cases, etc.) in our downtown Ashland City showroom, just a short drive from West Nashville. We serve families, music educators, and performers across Middle Tennessee, offering both new and refurbished instruments, plus all the accessories you need.
